Elves Take Manhattan

On Monday December 7th 2009, 607 Elves converged on "The Pond" at Bryant Park in New York.  This was the most Elves recorded in one place at one time and will be in the 2011 Guinness Book of World Records.

There were elves of all shapes, sizes, and age.

They stretched as far as the eye could see.  A vast horizon of green and red.

Jenny McCarthy and Dean McDermott were on hand to commemorate the event.

It was a fun, festive way to spend a cold Monday in New York.

While most everyone had a good time, some did suffer from Elf exhaustion.

It's hard work being an Elf, especially during this busy time of year.

I was just grateful to have a chance to photograph this event, and share in some holiday joy.  To read the official press release from ABC, click here.

I am totally confused.Maybe it's because I just woke up. Why are the Elf's mad at Santa?

Anywho that totally looked like fun! Why does all the weird stuff always happen in NY? ;)

Oh I'm awake now and just put two and two together... Jenny McCartney + Elves... I understand now. LOL (I thought the theme looked familiar)

Thanks Dee, I appreciate your kind words. Lexi, it may never make sense, but it's certainly up for interpretation. Gotta expect the unexpected in these parts.

I'm assuming it's in promotion for Jenny McCartney's new movie Santa Baby 2 on ABC... which is about the elves going on strike at the north pole :)
