One of the best things about living in New York is all the incredible art galleries that are just a train ride away. I'm so grateful to have access to a wide variety of pieces both old and new. Yet, with so many galleries around town, it's too easy to miss a worthwhile exhibit. Below, I've listed ten that will be opening in September, October, and November.

Usually, I take my journal along in order to take notes about the exhibits. If a particular piece moves me, I'll jot down a few thoughts, along with the name of the artist, and the title of the work. I use these notes for further research both online, and at my library. Sometimes I blog about it here, and others I keep it on file for inspiration.
If there are any other exhibits in NY that you would like to recommend, please put them in the comments area. Thanks!

Very interesting list, I'll to give some of these a try. The Brooklyn Museum Who Shot Rock & Roll looks like something I might even get my daughter and husband to go to!
Yes, and the Brooklyn Museum in general is a great place to visit with so many excellent pieces. Have fun!
Seems you are going to be even busier this fall. I'm beginning to think your days have more hours in them the everybody else ;)
Have fun!
Lol! Thanks Lexi. It's like a fire that I need to keep feeding. The more I do and see, the more productive and creative I become.
