Crowd Control Video, The New Yorker

A portion of my time lapse film from Grand Central Terminal was used as part of a multimedia piece for The New Yorker.   The presentation discusses crowd control, and my footage starts at the 0:35 mark.  The article was written by John Seabrook and can be found in the magazine this week.  I've long respected this fine publication, and am proud to be a part of it.

To read about how I used the Lensbaby Fisheye and a Gorillapod to create the original piece, check the post here.

Great piece on crowd control... a very scary topic. Congrats on your piece Chris!

Indeed it is scary. An employee died in that Walmart rush. I've been in some crazy crowds too, like the Rockefeller Tree Lighting. When people start pushing, bad things can happen.
