About the Photos:
All images are real moments captured in time, not created with mouse clicks. There are no composites, green screen, or background changes. My goal is to get the image right at the time of the exposure using manual exposure, quality cameras, lenses, filters, tripods, and flash systems that extend the dynamic range of what is normally possible. Post production is limited to occasional black and white conversion, subtle vignetting, white balance adjustment, increased saturation, and layer masking techniques that retain the full integrity of the original image.
About the Blog:
From time to time I receive complementary photography products, services, books, and DVDs in return for an honest review on the blog. You have my personal guarantee that I will never endorse anything I would not use myself, and I will always disclose all such business relationships. There have been items and services I've declined to review as I did not believe they were in the best interest of my readers. My promise is to provide you with trustworthy opinions that are not influenced by vendors, companies, and manufacturers.
