Common Eider at Montauk Point

Besides the Seals, there were also many species of beautiful birds out at Montauk Point. Picured below is the "Common Eider". It was preening when I focused on it. Shortly after, it began to flap it's wings and I rattled off a dozen or so shots at 6.5 fps. Shutter was at 1/640 which froze the wing movement nicely.
