The other morning I was walking to the train station when I noticed this interesting scene by my feet. It had an Eliot Porter feel to it. I had a 100mm macro lens on my DSLR, and my iphone. I shot it with both. This version below was made with the macro lens. The iphone version can be seen here. While you can do some cool mobile things with the iphone camera, like posting to twitter and facebook, I still carry my DSLR everywhere I go. Normally, for street photography I use a wide angle lens, (17-40 f4). Sometimes I switch it up just to experiment with different perspectives, and focal lengths. I'm glad I did because I like the resulting image.
