Yesterday, my wife and I checked out the Brooklyn Museum with a good friend of ours (thanks Jess!) There was some outstanding stuff there, and it will certainly take another visit to completely absorb all this place had to offer.
We came across this beautiful wrought iron Butterfly Gate. Mrs. Behind the Lens took this image with her Canon Powershot. Notice the interesting shadows being projected in the bottom right corner.
While she was making that photo, I was using my 17-40mm lens to focus on the shapes in the shadows. When I got home, I turned the photo upside down in Photoshop. And while I'm not interested in heavy Photoshop manipulation at all, I certainly have no issue with turning something upside down. Here is the final result.
