In the dark, hidden corners of New York, there are many stories that you won't read about in the paper, or see on the news. Often, I witness these things through my lens, and ponder whether or not these images should ever even be seen by the public. Yet, I feel it's important to tell the whole story. New York City isn't all about towering skyscrapers and Broadway lights. There are people here who are struggling to survive. As a photographer, I strive to tell their story with a single image. I feel it's important to understand what these individuals are going through in order to comprehend the bigger picture.
