Multimedia Special: Home Town Parade
There was a small parade in my town yesterday. It was quite different from the usual things I cover in Manhattan, but I decided to try something new. I call it "Photobiking". Basically, I rode my mountain bike to the parade in flip flops with a Canon 40D and one lens, a 50 f1.8.
I also brought my Zoom H2 audio recorder to gather some sound. All of this fit into a small Lowepro holster. The bike turned out to be very practical as I was able to ride up and down the parade route quickly. When I saw something interesting I would stop, shoot, and zip off again. It was great fun, and I put together a short presentation to share with you.
