Special thanks to Paul Adams for welcoming us to visit the very special Baiting Hollow Hummingbird Sanctuary. The well manicured grounds and ocean views were truly spectacular!
Due to an overnight northwest wind, the hummer numbers were low, but I had excellent luck with the Butterflies. A few of my favorites are below, all shot with a 400mm lens, tripod mounted. Camera settings: 1/3200, ISO 800, f5.6, 580 EXII Flash on High Speed Sync. Paul was gracious enough to invite us back to try our Hummingbird luck again another time. I look forward to returning to this magical place.
