Dipway Arch, Central Park

While location scouting yesterday I cam across this wonderfully textured tunnel known as Dipway Arch. At first glance it doesn't look like there's much there. Upon closer examination however, it's truly beautiful inside! This was then processed using Exposure by Alien Skin. I keep raving about it, because the results are stunning, and it's fun to use. Check it out for yourself here

As for the tech details, it is extremely dark in the passageway. I used a high ISO of 6400 on the Canon 6D for a proper exposure. This was necessary since I wanted a small aperture (f8) for more depth of field. This kept everything sharp throughout the entire photo. A shutter speed of 1/125 was fast enough to freeze the couple walking and prevent any blur from camera shake.
