On their own, neither of these shots work, but putting them together with an in-camera double exposure proved much more interesting. This is something I've been experimenting with since my film days, and have continued with the OMD EM1. Although it's now a digital process, the serendipitous nature of the results has not changed. Here are both shots on their own. The flower is clearly in a cluttered environment while the scratched window doesn't hold enough visual interest on its own.
Here is the combined shot, again, done in-camera, not in the digital darkroom. This is important to note as the results are far less predictable.
