During this holiday season, we are all being bombarded with targeted ads from camera companies who promise that their new camera will make you better in 2013. Not to be a Grinch, but the marketing hype is misleading at best, and in some cases, appears to be false advertising.
There are basically three parts to every great photo:
- a powerful moment in time
- the photographer's unique vision
- a command of technical details needed to fulfill that vision
As we move towards the new year, I encourage you to focus on improving the one thing that will really make an impact on your images; your photographic knowledge.
