I found these beautiful little white flowers at Caumsett State Park on the north shore of Long Island.  This was my first chance at using "Live View" on the 6D, and it works very similarly to any camera with this mode.  There is one difference though, and that is the shallow depth of field.  With the full frame sensor, it's easier to throw the background out of focus then it is with a smaller sensor.  This image was shot at f4 on a 17-40mm lens at 40mm.  I was able to keep just one flower in front sharp while letting everything else fade into a soft glow.

iPhone pic of the set up.  Notice how low the tripod gets to the ground.  This is very helpful for nature work.

I'm off to a busy weekend with friends and family. Wishing you a Happy Easter and Passover.
